Wa All Stars arrived in Sudan ahead of Thursday's international friendly against hosts, Al-Hilal in Khartoum.
The Blues, champions of Ghana in the previous season who are visiting Sudan for the first time, arrived in the early hours of Tuesday morning in the Sudanese capital having travelled over eight hours from Accra on Monday enroute through Addis Ababa.
Also on board the same flight with the players was former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah. The former Black Stars coach shared some moments with the team before making his way out of the Airport.
Striker Richard Arthur and his colleagues were greeted by the flash lights with the local media on hand to cover their arrival. The team made their way to the hotel and will train later in the evening.
The game against Al-Hilal who have two Ghanaians; Augustine Okrah and Abednego Tetteh in their set-up would be the first fixture of the New Year for Wa AllStars.
