The start of another impossible dream beckons for Wa All Stars as Enos Adipah insists the Blues can achieve something in their latest adventure, the CAF Champions League.
Wa All Stars make their bow in the competition when they face Ahly Tripoli at the Tamale Stadium on Sunday after shocking many by annexing the Ghanaian league title last season.
The game kicks off at 14:00GMT.
As first timers, this adventure looks pretty different to the domestic challenges but Adipah is backing his Blues to carry the spirit that saw them clinch the domestic title into this campaign.
"We surprised ourselves last season by winning the Cup. It looked like something that couldn't be done by a team of our standard. I want us to show that same determination and belief.," Adipah told waallstars.com.
"People will says we can't get past this fixture. But we just need to keep our focus. I trust my players to rise to the occassion."
For Adipah, the opposition looks a very solid unit with Champions League experience to their advantage.
Ahly Tripoli who have been involved in 14 previous Champions League qualifiers are equally determined to reach the group stage.
Adipah said: "They have that tournament experience, no doubt. But we come in as the under dogs as we have to enjoy the moment and make the right decisions."
